Who We Are
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, ANITA SAVILLE. Anita has written about women’s finances for more than 25 years. She runs a successful communications business -- which she established on her own. She is also the founder of Pursestrings, a financial news service for women. In addition, Anita worked as an editor at Fidelity Investments -- where she became certified as a registered securities representative -- and taught in the Maryland public schools. She has volunteered with a variety of organizations that support women’s rights and helped launch a Lowell chapter of the National Organization for Women.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS AND CLIENT ADVOCATE, KATHY BROUGH. Kathy has worked in multiple non-profit organizations in our target area for nearly 20 years. She has served as Treasurer and board member of a regional homeless shelter, helped low-income clients obtain disability benefits, and driven AIDS patients to medical appointments. She is a local town meeting representative, and serves on the town recycling committee. For more than 16 years, Kathryn managed the day-to-day operations of an electro-optical engineering consulting firm -- handling accounting, human resources, project planning, budgeting, and cash flow. She is currently establishing similar systems for a startup firm that offers customized medical care.
DIRECTOR OF COACHING, JULIE LEMIRE. Julie has worked with House of Hope, a family shelter in Lowell, for more than 12 years and is currently managers the Hope to Opportunity program. She has also served as a case worker for the Center for Family Development in Lowell and the Lowell Community Health Center as well as a mental health counselor at the Lowell Youth Treatment Center.
TRAINING CONSULTANT, JAN STEWART. A principal with Emerge, Jan provides career counseling, leadership development, and team-building services to local businesses, educational institutions, and nonprofits. She has also served as director of operations for a research recruiting company and developed a highly successful fee-based program for a local school district.
