Who We Are

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, ANITA SAVILLE. Anita has written about women’s finances for more than 25 years. She runs a successful communications business and is the founder of Pursestrings, a financial news service for women. In addition, Anita worked as an editor at Fidelity Investments -- where she became certified as a registered securities representative -- and taught in the Maryland public schools. She has volunteered with a variety of organizations that support women’s rights and helped launch a Lowell chapter of the National Organization for Women.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS AND CLIENT ADVOCATE, KATHY BROUGH. Kathy has worked in multiple non-profit organizations in our target area for nearly 20 years. She has served as Treasurer and board member of a regional homeless shelter, helped low-income clients obtain disability benefits, and driven AIDS patients to medical appointments. She is a local town meeting representative, and serves on the town recycling committee. For more than 16 years, Kathryn managed the day-to-day operations of an electro-optical engineering consulting firm -- handling accounting, human resources, project planning, budgeting, and cash flow.  She also established similar systems for a startup firm that offers customized medical care.

DIRECTOR OF COACHING, JULIE LEMIRE. Julie -- now a patient advocate at Lowell General Hospital -- worked with House of Hope, a family shelter in Lowell, for more than 13 years. She has also served as a case worker for the Center for Family Development in Lowell and the Lowell Community Health Center as well as a mental health counselor at the Lowell Youth Treatment Center.
